Where is the 2nd longest zipline in the world?

Humans have yearned to fly through the air for centuries (perhaps eons) before the Wright brothers slid over the dunes of Kitty Hawk. Extreme athletes have been pushing the limits for decades and seek to defy gravity in activities such as base jumping, flying in an aerial suit, hang gliding, skydiving and paragliding.

Extreme athletes have been pushing the limits for decades and seek to defy gravity in activities such as base jumping, flying in an aerial suit, hang gliding, skydiving and paragliding. The SkyRider Tour is the second longest zipline in the world, rising 600 feet above the ground with two crisscrossing ziplines. Fly 4.6 miles across the Catskills, from mountain peak to peak and back again, reaching speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.

Learn the skills needed to take the tour at Zipline Pilot Training School. The SkyRider Tour lasts three to four hours. Each participant is subject to the course using a secure harness.
